Using unqualified technicians risks damaging proprietary components and voiding your warranty. Sleep Number’s technicians carry model-specific knowledge that no third party can replicate.
Step by Step: How to Move Your Sleep Number Bed
Follow this sequence to ensure a smooth move:
Step 1: Contact Sleep Number at least three weeks before your move date to schedule disassembly. Their technicians are in high demand and availability fills quickly.
Step 2: Confirm your disassembly appointment is scheduled before your AMWAT move date. Sleep Number requires payment upfront to confirm the appointment.
Step 3: AMWAT arrives on moving day and safely transports all disassembled Sleep Number components to your new home.
Step 4: Schedule Sleep Number reassembly at your new address after the move. Note that disassembly and reassembly cannot be booked under the same order. They must be scheduled separately.
Important: Sleep Number technicians do not transport beds between addresses. They disassemble at the origin and reassemble at the destination, but transportation is your responsibility. That is where AMWAT comes in.
