AMWAT Leads Fill A Truck Event to Support Taylor County After Hurricane Helene Devastation on October 17th

As the CEO of AMWAT Moving Warehousing Storage, I am reaching out to announce an important initiative that we are spearheading in response to the recent devastation Taylor County experienced due to Hurricane Helene. On October 17, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., AMWAT will be hosting a Fill A Truck event at 300 E Park Ave to collect critical supplies for Taylor County residents who have been severely impacted by the storm. We are calling on the community to help by donating essential items such as household cleaning products, baby formula, diapers, feminine hygiene products, and other urgently needed supplies.

The collected items will be delivered to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management for distribution to those in the most need. Our goal is to ensure that families affected by Hurricane Helene receive the support and supplies they need to rebuild their lives after this devastating event.

At AMWAT, we have a long history of stepping up to help our community in times of crisis. This Fill A Truck event is part of our ongoing commitment to serving not only the Tallahassee area but also the surrounding regions during their most difficult times. Hurricane Helene has left a deep impact on Taylor County, and it’s more important than ever for us to come together to support them. We are proud to lead this initiative and invite you to join us in making a real difference.

Drop-off Information:
If you are unable to attend the event, donations can be dropped off at AMWAT’s warehouse at 319 Ross Road, Tallahassee, FL 32305, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The final deadline for donations is October 17, 2024.

Together, we can help Taylor County recover from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Let’s come together and fill our trucks with hope and essential supplies.

Warm regards,
Gloria Pugh
